White pass - Unity Bachelor challenge

I got a chance to play this week in the Unity Bachelor challenge. This weeks challenge was putting on the glitz
-Use something SHINY - or GLITTERY
-One piece of PATTERNED PAPER
-2 Buttons
-must include Unity Stamps

I started out with some pictures I had from our trip across country. We had the chance while we were in Haines, AK to travel on the "fast ferry" over to Skagway, AK. Skagway has a train that travels up through the mountains - the tracks were put in to help facilitate the movement of GOLD when it was discovered.

It is a BEAUTIFUL ride - tons of things to see and the scenery is breathtaking!

I used the Unity September Store KOTM for the quote - "In the right light, at the right time,... everything is extraordinary" from that kit. I also used the Unity kit Le Chic Vintage - LOVE this kit! I used the circle as a border and the notebook page to put the quote on.

The 2 page layout was scraplifted from a layout in the Aug/Sept Scrapbooks, Etc magazine. I love that I have seen a TON of layouts with more than one picture lately. I hardly ever scrap with just one photo (unless it's for a sketch) because I take so many pictures.
The paper is My minds eye, I used another piece of shaped paper to trace the shape onto the polka-dot paper. Love the new shaped paper that is coming out!
The flowers are layered paper from my scraps from the shaped paper. I used the front and the back (the back is pinkish colored) and placed a button in the center. In the holes in the buttons are Kaiser rhinestones.

I am also using this for the Scrap and Stamp Saturday challenge - their challenge this week is to distress. I distressed the notebook paper on the 2nd page.

Supplies
Stamp: Unity Le Chic vintage, Sept Store KOTM
Ink: Momento
Paper: My minds eye, SU
Accessories: Kaiser rhinestones, lace border punch, buttons
