I joined in on an image swap on Denise's blog. It was GREAT! I sent out images and got a TON of images that I don't have!!!!!!!!!! It's fun to be able to color and use some images that I have been wanting for a long time!
This card was created for 2 different challenges. Cute Card Thursday had a sketch to follow with some GREAT prizes! They are celebrating a birthday and the winners get the "presents". Stamp something is having a something green challenge this week on their site. I combined the two and used the sketch and some GREEN!
I'll admit - green is not one of my favorite colors, but paired with pink and brown, I don't think it was too bad.
I used the Tilda with birthday cake image (I don't have it - yet) that I received in the image swap. The card base is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches - a bit bigger than I am used to. The basic grey porcelain paper worked perfect with my SU Pretty in pink base. I still need to find the "perfect" happy birthday stamp, but for this one I used a stamp from Unity's Simply said kit "The Best is yet to come". Supplies:
Stamps: Tilda with birthday cake, Simply said (sentiment - Unity)
Paper: SU Pretty in pink, Basic Grey porcelain
Ink: Momento Rich cocoa
Copics: E51, E08, E37, G21, RV42, Y15, W-3, Sakura glitter pen
Accessories: Paper snip scissors, nesties
