Toad Queen

Dog gone stamps has some really cute images -this was one of my first - he is the Toad King, but by taking off the crown and adding some eyelashes, SHE can be the Toad queen. I had some scraps from another project that I was working on - I think I made 4 cards with this one sheet of paper that I had - so I used it on the Toad Queen. I definitely love these colors of paper, so cute!

Christmas is THIS week! Are you ready? We fly off island tomorrow and will be spending Christmas in a hotel somewhere - we're not sure yet. Santa will be finding dd in the hotel, she has her stocking all ready (mom and dad aren't quite ready yet though).Supplies
Stamp: Toad king, CTMH Treasures of the heart
Ink: Momento tuxedo black
Paper: My Minds eye Just dreamy 2 (sweet stripes/pink plaid)

Chippety chipboard

I will admit it, this challenge was hard for me. I'm NOT a big fan of chipboard and hardly have any here except for mini-books that I make with the bind it all. Check out the Chip off the Block challenge on the Whimsy challenge blog this week so you can use up some of your chipboard.

I definitely needed a brown bear this week to go with the paper I was using. While I was coloring, dh came over and told me that even though I colored it brown, it still looked like a polar bear because each species of bear looks different. I told him I didn't care, he kept insisting that the brown bear looked funny because it was supposed to be a white polar bear.

The square with the sentiment is chipboard covered in some paper from the Cosmo Cricket Nutmeg collection - love this collection!

This challenge will be on for 2 weeks - we will be taking next Monday off for the holidays! Hope everyone has a great Christmas! See you in the new year! Supplies
Stamp: Whimsy polar bear
Ink; Momento
Paper: Cosmo cricket nutmeg
Accessories: Square chipboard, copics, CTMH sentiment

Rock City

We loved this trip to Rock City. We spent 2 days in Chattanooga, TN in 2008 just resting from traveling 400+ miles a day for over a week - we were exhausted and needed a break from the car! Abby was exhausted after a whole day of walking, first through Ruby Falls, then through Rock city - she slept GREAT that night!

This is a quick post - it is a schedule post - I should be living in a hotel right now - probably swimming in a pool or hanging out at the beach at the hotel, the little hotel is on an island close to the main island of St. Croix - it's a fun hotel! Supplies
Stamp: CTMH doodle Alphabet
Ink: Momento tuxedo black
Paper: SU Kraft, Cosmo Cricket The boyfriend

Edward......

I am in love with Edward - in the books. I could do without who they picked to play him in the movie, although I did like him better in the New moon movie (which I watched in the theatre 2 times). After New Moon though, I am really liking Jacob - I'm glad I don't have to choose between the two of them!

This is another scheduled post - my craft stuff is in a box in a crate on a boat (I hope already) to AK.

I got this Edward stamp from the Greeting farm a while ago - this is my first time inking him up (i am ashamed) and I LOVED coloring him up! Supplies
Stamp: Edward - The Greeting Farm, CTMH for every occassion
Ink: Momento tuxedo black, rich cocoa
Paper: Cosmo Cricket Nutmeg
Accessories: copics

Only 2 months until Valentines day - are you ready? I'm NOT. I'm not even ready for Christmas, but love this image of Boy with Flowers from Dog Gone stamps, so used him to make a Valentine card. This is a scheduled post because I have no internet at the house right now!

We are currently living out of bags/suitcases. We are in the process of a big move cross country - we move into a hotel in a couple of days and I am really hoping the house is CLEAN in the next day! Supplies

I "stink" there is no color...

Black and white are considered colors, right? We had moves here last week and it's empty in the house! Dd is wondering where her toys are and I have a box of my craft supplies headed to meet me in AK when we get there.

The Whimsy challenge blog this week is to only use Black and White. I had to add a spot of pink to the skunks nose, it wouldn't have looked right without it. The skunk was perfect for this challenge, I didn't have to change it's original colors at all! Supplies
Stamp: Whimsy skunk
Ink: Momento
Paper: SU prints sampler
Accessories: copics
