As usual Thursday on the Unity SCS forum was FUN! I won a stamp, we chatted about cake, there was a bit of drooling over Jacquie's new avatar....
These cards were for the challenges yesterday. The first one was "Gel-tastic" unity. We were to use gel pens on the card. I pulled out my Sakura glaze pens and got to work on coloring. For the background, I cut 1/2 in strips of paper, then ran them through the cuttlebug with my swiss dots folder. Probably would have been easier to run the paper through BEFORE cutting it, but it worked.
Supplies
Stamps: Unity Love and meaning
Ink: Adirondack pitch black
Paper: SU whisper white, Unknown colored (using my stash)
Pens: Sakura glaze pens
The next challenge was "Get Tilted with Unity" - to put our main image at a tilt on the card. This one is HARD for me because I really like straight lines, but I did it and I think it turned out ok. I found some water paper - I'm pretty sure it is from a DCWV stack that I picked up at some point. I stamped the sand castle and the pail on Kraft paper thinking that it looks somewhat like sand.
Supplies
Stamps: Unity Beach days and Sun Rays
Ink: Adirondack Pitch black
Paper: SU Kraft, DCWV stack
Copics: B02, G05, YR16
Accessories: Black copic multi-liner pen for dots

I really like these cards as well. You really are super talented! I loved the saying on the first card, and as always I love the things you do with the cuttlebug. I don't know what it is, but lately I've just loved polka dots and dots. And it's hard for me to not do straight lines as well! Love ya!
