I can't believe it's March already - where is the time going? I have missed the last 2 hip hops... sad, yes! I am back! We are moved (still getting the rest of the way settled) and my parents left to head back to Oregon last Saturday.
I got on SCS to join the hip hop discussion yesterday morning and SCS was DOWN...... it gave me time to make my cards, but I was still sad!
The first card today is for Jeanne's challenge for Unity Happiness (make a card that will make someone smile). I chose to do a birthday card because everyone smiles when it's their birthday and they are getting cards. I got the Scrappy flower from Brooke when she did her birthday giveaway on her blog - I LOVE the scrappy flower! I paper-pieced the flower with BG Marrakech paper (from Limelight - Mandy ships FAST)
Supplies
Stamp: Scrappy flower and Birds of a feather (both Unity)
Paper: BG Marrakech
Ink: Adirondack pitch black
Accessories: Sakura glitter pen, paper snip scissors
The second card was Unity colors of the heart, to use pink, red and a neutral color to make a non-valentine card. I actually like the colors red and pink together (if they are the correct shade)
The mushroom is from the February KOTM "Endings and Beginnings". What a fun kit! I think the KOTM is the best investment in a kit I could have! They are HUGE stamps (great for cards and for scrapbooking) and at a great price!
Does anyone out there NOT have Swiss dots? I have an extra - the first comment from someone that DOES NOT own swiss dots currently and "needs" it will get it!
Supplies
Stamp: Feb KOTM Unity
Paper: SU Pink Pirouette, Riding hood red, Kraft
Copics: R17, YG67, RV42 - Sakura glitter pen
Accessories: Cuttlebug, Swiss dots embossing folder, nesties

Congrats on this post! And I love your cards - great use of color and layout!
Believe it or not, I do not have swiss dots yet. They were out of it when I bought the few embossing folders that I have. Looks great on your red & pink card.
Fabulous cards. I adore that mushroom! Thanks so much for sharing. >:0)
