USCG chipboard album - Friends with flair Friday

So - when Unity came out with the Unity in America kit - I was on the fence about getting it. I looked and it and decided NOT to buy it when I saw that there was NO Coast Guard stamp. They had all the other branches of the military represented, but not Coast guard. THEN - there was a discussion on SCS about it , there were a couple of CG wives who asked about it and Angela has the designer of the set ADD A COAST GUARD STAMP!!!!!!!!!! I bought the set immediately!

Unity's customer service ROCKS! I love that they added this stamp - I used a whole bunch of this set for a swap I was doing for a coastie wife group I belong to. The recipient is an active duty coast guard member along with her husband. I thought that she could add some of her favorite pictures of the two of them in the book.

Supplies
Stamp: Unity in America, Distressed dots
Ink: Momento, Palette fresh snow
Paper: SU, unknown blue
Accessories: Pop dots, SU white ribbon

This is FANTASTIC!!! I love mini's!! You asked about taking the pics for my blog. I almost always go outside. If the sun is glaring I'll stand just inside the door so I get as much light as possible without getting glare. I use PSE5 to sharpen the pic and take out any color cast that I may have gotten. Hope this helps!!
