Candy swap container

I am in a birthday club on one of the message boards I am on and we are doing a candy swap this winter. We alter a container and put the person's favorite candy in it so they can re-use it when they want!

I got Christy for the swap - I got an idea a few weeks ago on how to do this and ran with it - glad it worked out. The lid is a little hard to get on and off, but that way it's harder to eat the candy...

Christy - if you are reading this and you haven't got your birthday/candy swap box yet - Please STOP!!!!!

I used a Easter paper mache box from Walmart and covered with with SU In-color ribbon from last year. I loved the in-colors and haven't bought any of the colors for this year. The top is using an in-color also. The C is cut out with the Cricut Doodletype font cartridge (C for Candy or Christy). The flower is one that I had in my stash of stuff.

What a cute way to use ribbon! I have a ton of it and should use it more often instead of hoarding it all ;o).
