Hip hop was wonderful as usual yesterday! I wasn't online much, but got both challenges done and won some free stamps! Angela is amazing and gives away tons of stamps (through the DT) every week, I don't know how she does it!
The first challenge was the Unity Bold and Bright challenge. I stamped Floral Frenzy on yellow paper and put it on some really bright blue paper... Added buttons and made the card! It is a fun one, I'll probably never send it through the mail - with all the buttons, it would cost a fortune! Supplies
Stamp: Unity Floral frenzy
Paper: SU cardstock
Ink: Adirondack pitch black
Accessories: SU paper snip scissors, buttons
The second card was the Unity Grit challenge. To use a sand color or glitter to make it look gritty. Well - the sand in AK is really this color most of the year. It's not a pretty sand like here! I used this adorable house from the Jan KOTM (designed by Tanis) and colored away. The brown paper is from CTMH and is sanded a bit on the embossed area. The tree trunk was fun-flocked. This was the first time I have used fun flock and it was probably good that my friend Jana was on the phone with me - I had NO idea how to use it!
Supplies
Stamp: Unity Jan KOTM
Paper, SU, CTMH
Ink: Adirondack pitch black
Coloring: SU watercolor pencils and blender pens
Accessories: cuttlebug swiss dots folder, chocolate latte fun flock
