Scrap and Stamp - My first week!

I am so excited to have been selected for the team with Scrap and stamp - this was actually my 3rd time applying and almost didn't even do it. I waited till the last minute and applied and am glad that I did!

This weeks challenge at Scrap and Stamp is a Summer layout or just summer colors. We are sponsored by Sunshine's stamps and the winner will get their choice of 3 digi images from the store!

This challenge was really easy for me as we just left the Virgin Islands after spending 18 months in St. Croix. I have a ton of beach pictures! Pretty much every day there is a summer day (ok- every day down there unless it's a stormy day, but then it's still hot and humid)

I used some My Minds Eye dp - it's from the Surfer girl collection and worked great with the pictures I had from this day of building sand castles (in the shade) at the beach. My daughter Abby LOVED building castles and we have tons of castle building pictures.

I used stamps from Unity Stamp Co. I bought the Beach days and Sun Rays stamp set soon after I arrived in St. Croix and barely used it when I was there (I was scrapping Alaska pictures) and was very excited to get to pull it out for this layout.
I hope everyone has big plans for National Scrapbook day! There are so many online crops that I don't know which to join in on! I am also teaching a class at the store I work at - we're making a tag album - I can't wait!
