a new challenge - black and white or sepia

As I am typing this blog post I can see how horrible my lighting was last night while taking these pictures. I finished the layout earlier, then forgot that I had to have this on the blog for Saturday. Oops.... We worked, then I took dd roller skating, then we went on a bike ride. All the while forgetting that it was Friday. SO - I apologize for the quality of the pictures. I will try to get some new ones when we have sun this coming week.

The challenge on the Scrap and Stamp blog this week to to use some black and white or sepia pictures. I really need to print some more pictures - my family photos from April are the only ones I have in black and white right now, so if you're tired of seeing these pictures, sorry!

I used the sketch from Sketchy Thursday to create this 2 page layout. I still mainly scrap in 2 page layouts, so I usually stretch or flip the second page to make it look like they are supposed to go together.

I will be posting more. I have a ton of projects to photograph and get posted. It's been a rough couple of weeks. While I was on vacation, a good friend lost her husband in a helicopter crash. It hit really close to home because we were friends with them and the couple is my age. They have 2 adorable boys and a little girl on the way. My thoughts have been with her this week instead of my crafting..
