Fun in the sun

I had some scraps leftover from a layout that I finished and thought this paper would be REALLY cute with this stamp by Victoria Case for SCACD - By the Sea. I paper pieced her swim suit and swim cap with some Echo park Little Girl paper. The sentiment is from Unity stamps.

I have been neglecting some of my really CUTE stamps and have made myself a deal that every 2 layouts I do, I need to make at least one card, then I will start using all the stamps I have! Supplies
Stamps: Victoria Case for SCACD - by the Sea, Unity Oct 10 (take time to laugh)
Ink: Tsukineko

Kitty and bird friends till the end

I have blog candy HERE and am a little sad that after 2 days I only had 5 comments.... Doesn't anyone want some goodies for free???

Victoria Case came out with some new stamp sets a while ago - I bought them and finally get to play! I love that I have a space to play (craft) in now that I have now that I have (mostly) everything put away.

Today was a great day (so far) for me! I got some money in my account that I have been fighting for since summer 2008. I WON a stamp set (The Spotlight scrapbooking/stamping kit) on The Greeting Farm. We got a BUNCH of new stuff in at the store and entered it all in the computer so we are ready to sell it soon. Our tax return should be in the account in a couple of days (a lot more than expected) and the SUN is out today (it's cold, but the sun is shining)!!!

This little cutie is sold in a collection of cute kitty and bird stamps. I inked them up using some tsukineko ink and colored with copics. I used some more Kaiser Peachy keen paper and the sentiment is from Unity.

Supplies
Stamp: Kitty and Bird collection by Victoria Case, Sentiment is Unity
Ink: Tsukineko
Paper: Peachy Keen by Kaisercraft
Accessories: copics, nesties, corner chomper

I colored him with my copics and then mounted him on some SU almost amethyst paper. The green stripe is a SU prints sampler paper that I had in my stash.

Gone fishing

Not really - I haven't like fishing since my dad told me that I had to eat the fish when I caught it. So, luckily I have a nice uncle who would "accidently" lose the fish off the hook each time I caught one.

Fisherman is a rubber stamp from Victoria Case - he used to be a digi, but I got him as a rubber stamp - for some reason, I really like having the actual stamp (could be because I don't have any printer ink, but have plenty of ink in my stamp pad)
Supplies
Stamp: Fisherman, Stampendous (sentiment)
Ink: Momento
Paper: BG Granola
Accessories: Copics, nesties

Victoria Case #17

I just received Moon Witch - a new Victoria Case rubber stamp yesterday and HAD to use her for the Victoria Case challenge blog #17 - a sketch. She is SO fun to color - so many possibilities! I love Halloween, although I never send out cards..... I should - it is a fun holiday!

Moon witch is colored with copics, layered on SU paper and the circle on the sketch was done with eyelets. I have a TON of eyelets. I hardly use them, but for some reason thought I needed to pull them out for this card. I used my Crop-a-dile II to reach to the center of the card (all around the circle). Supplies
Stamp: Moon Witch
Ink: Momento
Paper: SU
Accessories: Copics, eyelets, crop a dile II

So, I think you can pair almost any color with brown and it ends up looking good! Love this color combo - it's the new challenge at Victoria Case - join in, you never know when there will be prizes (free rubber!) involved!

I used the NEW rubber stamp Made with Love on my card - I love having a crafty friend right now too! I get to use all the new tools (copic airbrush system is on my list next) and play with all kinds of fun toys here! The flowers were airbrushed to match the coloring on the elf girl.

The clipboard is an altered one for the challenge on PCP - it's a back to school challenge - make something for back to school. I saw this idea on an email I got from Taylored Expressions - So cute! Come join in on Paper Craft planet because I hear there are some GREAT prizes...

Another MUST have release!!!!!

Victoria Case has done it again - I NEED this whole set of images that she created for Susana's Custom Art and Card Design (SCACD) - ADORABLE! I just love how cute these girls (and one boy) are!

The first image is Susy - so cute holding her teddy bear. I colored her with copics and found some of my new Cherry Hill paper (from October Afternoon) that would work well with her. She is ready for bed in her pj's and with her bear. I really wasn't sure if I would like the ribbon, but I think I do like the way it turned out.
Supplies
Stamp: Susy
Ink: Momento
Paper: October Afternoon
Accessories: Ribbon, staples, copics,

The second image is my favorite so far - SO FUN to color! This adorable image is named Autumn and can be found kicking around leaf piles anywhere close to my house!!!!!!!! I love her! Yep - I love having copic color choices (I think I have been convinced to buy sets of copics and an airbrush system soon!!!! Oh, and more nesties). I just need to move back to AK, so I can come over to my friends' house more often to play! The sentiment is a Susanament found in Susana's store.

Be sure to check out Susana's blog and Victoria's blog for the entire release - Susana's designers have done some AMAZING things with the new release!

Supplies
