A "few" Challenges

Today was a good crafting day! Dd cooperated and wanted to craft with me (and I made 1 card before she woke up and the layouts during nap time).

The first challenge is for InStyle stamps. They have the cutest new anime images (I just ordered 2) that I can't wait to get! They also have copic markers for a decent price! This Thankful Thursday sketch is from last Thursday. What a cute sketch - I kind of turned it on it's side, moved it around and made the oval work for me. Pam and Buster just really wanted to be inked up today! I couldn't find any flowers (I have a lot) to match the paper/coloring - so I made my own! I found a white prima and used my copic to color it to match Pam's dress.

I am also using this card to send in for Jen Tapler's blog candy/great cause candy. She is going to put together a bunch of cards and auction them off to raise money for the Alzheimer's association. What a great cause! Supplies
Stamp: Pam and Buster (In Style Stamps)
Paper: BG Marrakech
Ink: Adirondack pitch black
Copics: E51, E37, RV42, YR68, B32
Accessories: Prima, nesties

The second card is for a "recipe" challenge on Victoria Case's group on SNR - if you haven't been on SNR, why not try it out - it's free and there are fun challenges each month! This challenge has an AMAZING prize AND you don't have to use Victoria Case stamps if you don't own any (she has some great digitals that area quick to get in your inbox too) and you have the chance to WIN some of her adorable stamps!

I inked up Monster bedtime for this one. This challenge was HARD. We could only use 1 circle, 2 colors, 3 layers and 4 embellishments. I had a really hard time coloring the monster with just 2 colors, so I kind of cheated and used 2 different colors of brown - I don't think that is too bad!
Supplies
Stamps: Monster bedtime (Victoria Case)
Paper: BG bittersweet
Ink: Adirondack pitch black
Copics: RV42, E37, B02, Y28
Accessories: BG buttons, Bazzil primula petuna paper flowers, nesties

The next two layouts are for some sketch challenges. Jen Buck has started a CAS (clean and simple) sketch challenge each Sunday on her blog. I love how easy these layouts are to put together! This was one fun layout! Brought back memories - This was from when dh swore in to join the Coast guard - it was a rough day and I had been crying so the pictures of me aren't that great.

The second layout is for the Unity Scrapbook sketch challenge #6. What a cute sketch! I had fun - on the sketch it looks like just 1 picture is needed, BUT I altered the sketch a little to include a couple more pictures.

Supplies:
Stamps: Unity Feb and March KOTM, Serenity tree
Paper: Unknown white, blue; BG Granola
Ink: Adirondack pitch black
